Can you say achoo again? I started feeling sick all of a sudden. I blame it all on the school and sick neighbors ; )
Maybe I need to turn into the girl in the bubble and stay all germ free..however that could make it rather difficult to drive, shop or go to the bathroom for that matter. Did the bubble boy use diapers? At least I never lose my humor. Its a bit like a never ending loop ~ one gets sick, passes it on to the next and on and on and on till it ends back up in the beginning!

I just read the do's and don'ts advice for Valentine's gifts on yahoo. So according to the expert I came to the conclusion ..don;t give anything..lol..
Seriously though. Why are people getting so worked up over it. All you really have to do is just show the person you love or care for that you do so. And if that person loves you back or cares for you then any gift will be great.

I love Ikea ~ it's such a fun place to go to! Yesterday was the day I got a new step stool for my step stool collection! This one is really cool because it has two steps and allows me to reach far up. I put it together a little bit ago and am all proud now.

Morning Conversations With My Friend Don ~ The Asparagus Landing

Remember my friend Don and his kidney stones? Yes, that Don...so the poor thing went on clunking them out and ended up being in pain again.
I swear he has a kidney stone mine down there somewhere. My solution to the whole thing..Don how about I jump on your back and we make them pop out. I will draw a target near the buttocks in blue and red.
Don was a tad worried that I might miss it though. No worries I had a solution for that as well. We put some asparagus in his ears that are the landing signals. Woot woot..that's what you call homoeopathic cure.
So there I went and counted,..one, two, three and hoooooohaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...Did it work? Don said darn you are so light I did not feel a thing!
I said well hun, that's because I am the KIDNEY FAIRY ; )
Sometimes you have to take things with humor it makes it all betterz!

I woke up this morning and guess what I saw
the roofs have been covered in snow ohhh hooorrraaaaa!!
Not enough though to get on Mean~Green and slide down the driveway..unless the runway is on top of this roof.
With a smile on the face over the little white dusting I went by the Farmer's Market and indulged in my Saturday luxury of having a smoothie and a pretzel..there is nothing like it. It really is one of the most fun and active places to go. So many people to meet and so many different and delicious foods to try n buy.
What I like the best when going there is that everybody is always smiling..it's like a reflection.

Sometimes I really have issues with deciding on something. It's rather annoying ... and I guess some guys would say typical woman. Other things I know right away what I DO want and go for it full force. And then you have those things you want to go for but can't or should not.
Quite an interesting layout..
So I just babble on with those little random thoughts floating around in my head and imagine them having little hands tapping on me saying ..would you let me out already before I make this head of yours explode?
And to tell you the truth I would be running around with a busted brain container A LOT! Today is Friday ~ yes my favorite day of the week ~

If each day was a certain guy with a certain job ..then

Monday would be the dentist ( You definitely don't want to meet Monday/the dentist)
Tuesday would be the gynecologist ( Who really likes to go to the guy that checks out the cave?)
Wednesday would be the hobo (It says it all Wednesday is a bit the stand alone day of the week)
Thursday would be the florist ( almost there and who does not like flowers)
Friday the mailman ( I always like getting mail and Friday is my anticipation day ~ it's great)
Friday could also be the plumber ..he makes everything flow again ;)
Saturday your Lover ( yes being a boyfriend or husband is like a job..you guys don"t have it easy with us. Saturday is a fun day though)
and Sunday would be the baker ( because you still like Sunday but it's the last day before the weekend is over)

I am so against sharing everything! For example stomach bugs ~ just keep it I will be happy without it. That is the one drawback when helping out at school and having kids. They bring truly everything home from lost dogs to the flu.
I was ok for most of the morning and am now feeling pretty much craptacular. This strange feeling is coming up that the toilet will be my best friend today..ew I feel sicky..

How many people I have met. Most of them very sweet and funny and some very special to me. Each of the people I met and will meet affect me somehow, some know and some don't. Its like a little wave one person makes. The person that sits beside you at an airport, or the one that rings you up at the register, the one that fixes your coffee and the one that waves when picking your trash can up once a week...so many different human beings...all do the same and all want the same in life..all work, breath, love and all want to make sure they can afford a living and have someone to love them back.

Hello Tuesday it is lovely to see you!
It is a beautiful, cold and frosty morning. The sky is painted in a soft winter white and pink. I wonder if we will get some real snow this year before Spring comes on in all its glory.
Europe is getting slammed with ice and snow as we speak. Stay warm over there!!! The cold makes me think of the passing of my grandmother. Which has me reflect on my childhood and the things we did together.It;s like a projector in your head that has different pictures floating by. When I look outside and see the ice on the cars then I know exactly why I did not want to step out of the shower.
I love standing in there, letting the water run off of me and feel pretty much wrapped up in small, warm touches of what feels like velvet.

Have I ever mentioned we have a wood pellet stove?
Very efficient yet a dusty business on occasion.
I neglected to vacuum the pellet feeder part and also the ash area (I did dump the ashes though) before I turned it back on.
Lucky as I am this darn stove has been whistling like an old asthmatic woman all night long.Why I didn't turn it off...don;t ask me I have no clue.

~ Wake Up - It's Sunday ~

Good morning and welcome to Sunday the lovely day you can sleep in. Unless you are me andwake up between 3 and 4 am.
This is really stuff that has me roll my eyes..I tried for nearly two hours to fall back asleep but no such luck.
So, here i am bugging you guys with my random thoughts. It must have been raining here all night, the streets are still wet when you look out and it's pitch black out there.
The pellet stove gives this weird whistle off every so often which make me wanna get an inhaler for it...because it definitely sounds asthmatic.
Still hanging around in my Jammie's I should most likely get dressed and hop by the store at 6 to get breakfast rolls for the family to put a smiles on their faces when they wake up. It is pretty cold though out there ...grin...

Omg, it is cold ~
which of course calls for some nice hot coffee and some cheesecake. Like every Saturday I went by the Farmer's Market and got my obligatory smoothie and a pretzel this morning. I love walking through there with my little basket hanging on my arm and checking out all the little goodies this place has to offer.
One of the coolest things I saw today was a giant Boston Creme donut.

I just had to buy it for my son. The eyes on the boy when I brought it home were priceless! As you enter the Market the pretzel place and the donut counter are the first things you see. Walking right passed the pretzel stand you get to see all the different pickles possible, from garlic to old bay, dill and what not.
While walking towards the back of the place you get to glance at all the lovely salads from the one deli, pass the rotisserie where you get spoiled with the lovely scents of turkey, brisket and chicken...you just can't compare any other place with this.

Right across from the rotisserie is the smoothie place. Aside from those fresh fruity delights you can buy a nice hot cup of coffee, tea or slushies there. And why not indulge in one of those chocolate covered strawberries and take a salad for lunch while there.
One of the busiest spots of this building is definitely the Deli.. if you like meat this is the place for you. My heart always jumps for joy just by looking through the glass and admiring the different cuts and types of lunch meats, bacon, sausages (smoked, cooked or raw) and steaks...if you ever have the chance to go by a Farmer's Market go in and have fun....I mentioned a lot of things our place has to offer. Yet there is wayyyyy more ...come to Maryland and check it out!

It's The Vicodin ~ Morning Conversation With My Friend Don

Hoorrrayy it's Friday, that in itself is already woot woot! Everybody that knows me ~ knows this is my favorite day of the week.
I rolled out of bed, made my coffee and turned my Skype on to check on my friend Don. He is currently passing a kidney stone and it's rather uncomfortable yet funny to talk about.. Especially when your friend Don takes Vicodin for the pain ; O)
And yes we will let you know when he hears the plop in the porcelain once the stone passes!
Our subjects went from hot dogs and what they are made of lips n butts of pigs.. "And now you know why guys like to eat them so much"

To razors and how they should be really placed in a showcase beside diamonds because their prices have gone through the roof...which has you sometimes really considering growing an English lawn instead of having pavement. And just so you know it ,,,it;s all the Vicodin talking !!!!!
Talking about addiction..as I mentioned to Don ..ya know I am turning my blog into Facebook with songs and senseless rambling ons about stuff and he said ahhhhh so

Can You Hear The Rain?

I rolled out of bed around 5 am. Lately I have a hard time peeling myself out of bed.
Who really wants to get up when you're nice and cozy in the sheets. Like a cocoon of blankets.
So of in the shower and into the clothes it goes...most important at this time of day
- you got it - COFFEE
What I do like a lot about those early hours. It's nice and quiet. I actually do enjoy that a lot
combined with the darkness outside it has you relaxed and you can run all the things you want to do through your head in peace without any interruptions.
It's raining..oh how soothing it is..you sit back and hear the slight tap tap tap on the window.
Then slowly the dark turns into light and you can watch the little drops run into each other
creating little pieces of art on the glass.

Hello World,
Facebook closed, addresses, numbers, skype and what all there is exchanged.
It almost feels like a relieve not being on there anymore. I am back to basics and one of the few

I should have known better...don't count out the snow til after February.

It's nearly unbelievable but a new year has begun! Hello 2012, what will you bring us?

January is not quite over and already there has been lots of injuries and illness within my circle of friends and family.

Personally I feel a bit like a roller coaster at times and wonder what changes I will be going through this year?! Will it be good?

Andy is starting to become gray in the face..him, Buford and the girls have to go to the vets soon to get their annual shots. A poor biker nearly fell of his two wheeled carriage due to Andy being nosy and wanting to check out what was coming passed him on the sidewalk. It was such a funny sight.

The temperatures are rising here in Maryland and I am sure it is tough on a lot of people and animals. We simply cool off in the pool and indoors. So far I think this is the best summer yet. I made a lot of new friends some closer than others and some of them I would not want to be without.

Somehow I have this travel bug inside of me ...this urge to see different places and explore them. How boring would life be if you stayed at home the whole time!!!! On this note enjoy the rest of you Summer, go see places, travel ..do things you have never done before ~

Not that much has happened lately. It is really just life at work. The kids are all in school now. Kinda weird to not have a little worm at home anymore. Someone that just chatters on and on all day.

Rosie Russell has passed away and the kids truly missed her...myself included. Which took us to a new family member called Max de Bun.

He/she is a very cute bunny. We got him about a week or two ago. And...already almost litterbox trained. How cool is that for a bun. Andy and him/her are getting along just fine...while the rest of the puppers is a bit undecided wether or not this isn;t supposed to be a quick snack. We are using Rosie's old cage which is pretty large and put the second floor on top. To make the whole thing a bit bigger, we attached a little pet run to it. It's pretty cool. Andy's feet looked really bad and I was quite worried. Thank goodness for an e collar...the feet look already better after just two days of wearing it.

The bird's are doing ok as well...even though Lulu and Ms Blue are not the happiest. There is not enough time to spend with them properly . Plus they groom each other to pieces. As far as it comes to our friends ....there has not been much time either...barely really know what;s going on in each other's life.

I do miss all and hope everybody is doing fine. xoxoxoxo to All :)

The weather seems to be confused at this Winter. It can't make up its mind wether to shine, shower or snow...Today started out pretty foggy which lead some schools to open a little later. The dogs seems to be doing ok, only Andy has a some trouble getting around when it gets colder. So we resort to pain medicine for in order to have him comfortable. So how was everybody's first month of the year?

Hard to believe but true, it is 2008 already! We had a lot going on last year and more happening this year.
The kids and pups are slowly but surely growing up and it makes you proud to see them develop into great beings.
Our Poohbear had a couple of surgeries on his knees. He might has to undergo surgery at least one more time this year...Jussiepooh lost one of her nails and has to have surgery, should this not be able to heal with the antibiotics. Buford and Libby are doing good, except for bad breath...lol..but what is that compared to an injury...right, nothing. This year's Pet Expo's are coming up. The Maryland one ( World of Pet's Expo) at the Timonium will start on Friday the 25th throughout the weekend.
The Chantilly, VA should be around end of March/April again. I hope all of you had a great start into the New Year...enjoy the moments that count!!!!!!

So what's new you ask...well for one: Poohbear had surgery on both knees. He is all fine now but still on leash restriction. His healing can take up to six month if not longer.

Lisa is done breeding her Danes and has brought a little baby to this world. He is a very cute little guy. The dogs are growing up and will be 3 years old by October. If all goes well we will go Saturday to visit Linda in NY. She has a bird rescue named http://www.freewebs.com/chipperchirpers/ ....donations welcome anytime...hint ;)

Our reason for visiting is a new addition to our family. We just got done with ordering a new large cage, which will be picked up sometime this week. We are all terribly excited.

Life is what you make of it!

Another day and it looks quite beautiful out there. The sun is shining it is very cold but looks nice. This week will be over in a jif. School will be over two hours early every day this week and Friday no school at all. The pups enjoy the weather and it doesn;t seem to matter to them wether it snows or the wind blows.

It is a lot of fun watching them haul bootay outside and look happy. Don;t forget to stop by the World of Pets Expo this weekend. It will be well worth your time. For more info on the event itself and how to get there please visit:

Out with the Old...In with the New!

A new year has begun and with that a new look for my blogger page as well. We are a total of 8 now if you count the dogs. Still got Bob, our pigs and a new member to the family...it is a skink and I am still undecided with the name. I am between Voldemort and something else since his head really does look like the movie character...lol..No worries he is not coming out of the cage to turn us into little mice or something like that.

My best friend is doing ok...almost all the puppies have found a great new home. Some go with a sibling to their new families which is great and some will be the only spoiled rotten pet in their new home.

Next week is the World of pets expo, that is always an exciting time of the year for us. For more info you can visit their Website www.worldofpetsexpo.com . End of March will be the super pet expo and in April we will have some relative visiting. Not to forget the upcoming arrival of Lisa's newest family member in May. So this year is a lot of exciting stuff happening. Our Jussiepooh is getting big also...last weigh in she put 109.8lb on the scale...little ham! This is enough blabbering for now. It has been quite hot the last few days and while the kids are watching their Scooby in the nicely cooled living room, I decided to update my Websites. We had enough time to go and visit our friend Lisa in VA again. This time we actually stayed a little, played with pups and got to chat with our friends .
It is always sad having to go again but in a way it makes you happy being able to come back visit again and spend time together. Our little Justice-Butterfly is growing like a weed. She is such a pretty little girl, all laid back and calm. Lisa has quite a lot of work with the pups. She takes them to regular vet check ups, feeds them, cleans them and makes sure they are well socialized. Not to mention her availability to the new owners 24/7. She really is an outstanding human being so is her husband charlie and her kids. Breeding is definetly a family affair in this family. I love you guys.

Step in and see what's new so far...

one of the most obvious things that got done in the last couple of days is the mount of my room door.

We also got trim put around the windows

and the door

John added handles and knobs to the cabinet dooors

We also had to get a new Microwave. Our old one gave up on us. We still have to finish the island, add a few more cabinets, get siding put on the new part of the house and have the deck build! Hopefully it won't take to much longer to have it all done!

Looking at the news lately either the Gods or people are crazy....a 62 year old woman giving birth?! Now that is simply crazy if you ask me and selfish in a way. People tend to think a lot about themselfs and not about the effects their doing has on others. Another headline I found was actually quite interesting and made sense. One of the States is trying to create energy with dog waste...a pretty good idea when you look at the amount of dog waste daily produced. We should have energy for a lifetime if that works...lol...or maybe sell our dog waste. One thing is for sure we have enough with three Danes : )
There was one more headline I saw...it says that the woman's x - chromosome is possibly responsible for sexual tendency's. So if your son is gay must have been the mother's x-chromosome responsibility. The things people discover. Honestly some stuff I don't really need a medical explanation. If someone is gay then that someone is gay, ya know. No need for medical research...at least not in my eyes. Kitchen got some more done and more is being done as we speak. as soon as I have some time, I will post some new pictures!

Thursday and I gotta go to work later. It is a beautiful day this Thursday morning, we already got our cabinets delivered at 8:45am. What a task going through all the boxes and inventory all.
Three pages of numbers that stand for over 100 pieces to complete our kitchen. I should take a picture of it all. And what did I do I put sandals on my poor Bufy...lol,.. and took a picture of that instead!!! Still gotta glaze the walls in my room, put a floor in ( well buy the flooring first and then mount the cabinets....like a never ending story.

We finally got drywall up! It still has to be finished but what an improvement! The heat stays in the house again....huge difference. If the guy really comes by today to finish the drywall, we should be able to paint the kitchen and my sewing room this weekend. Next week the rest of our cabints is supposed to come and we have to go and buy an extra cabinet for our kitchen island....the people that hung the drywall broke it. The flooring needs to be picked and bought also...wow it really seems to be getting there!?!?!?!?!?!?!

As you can see it is Wednesday today! One of those rainy days that make you wanna stay at home huddled up in a nice soft blanket and either watch Tv or read a book. Poor Nina is back at the vet. She figured she needed a built in Ac for her body and chewed open her stitches....Nina now what were you thinking girl. Hopefully everything goes well with the restitching. The updates for our addition are as follows: rough in electrical Inspection = passed
framing Inspection = passed
insulation Inspection = passed

Still waiting for drywall to be hung and finished. Before that can be done some minor leaks need to be fixed as well. Electrical needs to be finished and the cabinets need to be installed. Tomorrow, so we got told, is the drywall supposed to go up. But as we already learned, we believe it when we see it!!!!
Ikea is supposed to call us sometime today, to confirm the delivery of our kitchen cabinets for tomorrow.
So I hope my bestest friend Lisa is feeling a little betterz and her stresslevel will be relieved by a phone call from the vet soon.
My friend heidi from Ohio has her little Trin at the vet todays as well. The little girl gets an earcropp done...on this note good luck Trinity !

I got to watch the Eukanuba Show yesterday and Saturday. I have to admit as soon as the working Group was done I shut off the tv and went to bed...lol... some really beautiful dogs in that group!!! We got a little bit of stuff done around the addition yesterday. John is trying really hard to make things happen and we got the base for our island set up. Today we will set the cabinets on there. I was more betwenn kids, a Mystery Marathon on Tv, grocery shopping and helping hubby. Can't wait till all is done and we will be able to let the dogs run in the yard again. Have the kids play on their swingset and simply back to a normal life!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa's dad and brother are sick, I hope they get better soon. Also wanted to tell our fiends in Vt, hope Mom is ok and stable!
I know it is just that time of year when people tend to get sick and even in the animal kingdom it's the same way.
Our vet said actually that now is the time you have to be careful with your dog when they get a "cold" in can turn quickly into pneumonia. And this is because of the drastic temperature change we have lately. So to everybody that doesn't feel well today....hope you get better soon. And for the petowners keep a good eye on your four legged family members!

The stuff I saw and heard this week, what a week! I had so much fun on New Year's Eve, I wonder if it is forbidden to have that much fun and enjoy friends over??? So far hubby, the kids and the pups have met soooo soo many people just through having the pups....I still can;t get over it. I know I am repeating myself but am simply amazed about it.
We definetly have to keep this up and meet annually. I got to laugh Wednesday Night, there was actually a customer coming in with a new pet: a Hamster! And wouldn;t you know it the whole Doctor's visit got documented by camera...lol...in a way it cracks me up. Then again on the other hand what the pups are to us, maybe the Hamster to others. Who am I to judge...it was very funny though :)
What else is new, hm, Pet Expos are coming up soon a definete must. The one at the Timonium has the best deals in the treat -departement for your pet. The Expo in Chantilly had the Greyhound Rescue there which had simply unbeatable deals for, pet beds, greenies and toys for your dog. Boy did we get to shop there. I am really looking forward to it!!!!
I cross my fingers that the Greyhound Rescue will be there again with some fabulous deals. We got rhino bones last year, 3 for $ 15,that is what you pay for one at the stores. So definately worth going....

Can you believe it, it is almost New Year!!??!?!
How come the year is in such a hurry to end. To be honest I am glad this year is almost over, we had so many losses this year. I know I gained something invaluable, which is best friends for a lifetime this year. That is something you are lucky to find. Some people are not that lucky to ever find friends like this in their entire life. I am very greatful, the losses still hurt though.
I wonder what the New Year will bring, not just for us but for the world in general. I actually wanted to say Thank You to my hubby for being such a great friend to me and love me the way I am love you hun, the same for our kids, whom are very patient with their Mommy...I couldn't imagine my life without you. To my friends, I love you, even when you guys have a lot of problems you still find the time to be there for me. I love you guys and I hope you will all have a great start into the new year!!!

Nothing new really, house still looks the same. Now just decorated with some snow on top. Our friends's Mom is doing better! Am very greatful for that. That was great news!!!!!!!!! The pups are starting to get a bit obnoxious, due to no place to run. Bob is doing fine, even though he gets a little neglected due to house renovation. He is a true Trooper!!!
When I walked the pups this morning, I figured I'll be nice and clean off John's car. So I did that after letting the dogs all out. Also started it, so it would be nice and warm by the time he is ready to go. : )
According to the forecast the weather will hold till Friday. We'll see...still doubtful that we will have a Christmas Tree and be done with all in time!

Today seems to be a good day. The nationwide woodpellet shortage had mercy on us. Walmart just had a delivery with several skids of Pellet Fuel...Yippey
Contractor came by also, Trusses may be coming this week>>>cross my fingers! Friends seem to be happy and in a good mood. Lee's Mom is a little bit better. Thinking of that anything may it be a tiny bit feeling better is GREAT! We are all thinking of you guys. As of right now it is raining outside but that is ok. Just gonna be a little muddy tomorrow.

The Rice Cake Trip

I decided to try something new with the dogs and gave them a plain Rice Cake made by Quaker. Am actually quite amazed because our three little Ponys really seem to LOVE them. As soon as I touch that rice cake bag they all come running. Good thing about it, no calories, no sodium and no affect on their output whatsoever.... :) an allaround great treat with no negative effects.

The walls are up, my nose is still broken and the dogs are getting closer to having their run back...lol...It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood and while other's are already getting started with their christmas decorations, I am still just dreaming about it. Our friend's Mom in Vt is on the Prayer list, thanks to my "sister" Lisa. If I could pick family Lisa would definetly be my sister : )
